The objective of the survey is to assemble avenues for publishing research results, to determine a measure of their quality, and to ascertain their degree of relevancy to engineering design and its computer based support. An article would be deemed as being relevant to Computer Aided Engineering Design if it addresses any aspect of computing technology associated with supporting engineering design. Relevancy to Engineering Design is focusing upon articles which address non-computational aspects.
We would be grateful for a few moments of your time and ask that you provide some input to this survey as it will no doubt benefit us all. In addition, I hope that you encourage member's in your group to do likewise.
Below is a list of potential publishing sources for which you are requested to give an indication of their degree of quality and relevance. Please allocate a number between 10 and 0 to each source; where 10 would indicate the highest quality and 100% of the papers/articles are relevant to the respective field. For example:
Source Quality Eng.Design CAED ------ ------- ---------- ---- A Source of Some Sort 10 5 0 Another source 7 3 5The first entry indicates that the source is of the highest quality but only 50% of its publications address engineering design and none to computer aided engineering design. The second indicates "good" quality with about 30% of the article contents addressing engineering design issues and 50% computer based engineering design.
Do not feel that you need to make a return for all the publication sources or even that you need to submit your return for all the sources, that you know, in one go. Feel free to submit information for parts of the survey at different times.
When you are finished please submit your information.
Thank you for your time and effort.
